The front springs don't have enough power to automatically open the trunk, but the rear ones function correctly. Putting them in is simple, requiring only a flathead screwdriver to gently lift the clip. I accidentally broke one clip by applying too much force and had to reuse the original clip, which now sits over the knob a little loosely. Despite this, they perform their function well. However, the rear springs slightly rub against the rubber components.
