The photographs are presented and described as being flawless. I'm rating this with 3 stars because the spikes are thinner, harder, and more inflexible than I anticipated, making me worry about their durability. They might work well for those with short hair, however. The casing is also too stiff and flimsy, which leads me to believe it won't hold up well to bumps or drops.
