For the price paid - the quality is good. A thicker cotton/cotton blend fabric was used, lined with mesh and bias tape used on the edges which is a nice touch. A matching leash was added definitely adding value. The flower ribbon accent was cute and the clasp is sturdy. I only gave this purchase 3 stars as my dog (a toy poodle) weighs 6.5 lbs and wears a size small in everything we have purchased. As it was mentioned in some reviews that this item can fit small, I ordered a medium. The medium does not fit. It is too tight. It is unfortunate. Stars also lost as the colour is not red. It is more fuchsia pink. Disappointed we cannot use it.
