These shoes are not water resistant, so your legs will get wet. I've tried them. The sizing (in centimeters) is correct. However, if you typically wear a size 39 shoe, I recommend ordering a size 41 in these shoes. I purchased a size 40, but they're too tight for my size 39 feet; they're too small and stick to my feet. I need a slightly larger size. The delivery was very fast.
