This is a lovely, comfortable, and slightly firm elastic cushion with a beautiful design. It has a bright, soft, and skin-friendly cotton side. While I personally prefer very soft pillows, this one is great for car travel or when you don't want to use an inflatable pillow. It does take up a lot of space, similar to my fleece sleeping bag, which is a major consideration for me because I'm an ultralight hiker and try to minimize both volume and weight. In comparison, I use small, lightweight inflatable pillows for hiking. However, I still recommend this cushion because it's so appealing that I also purchased sleeping mats.
