Decent for the price and pleasantly soft and very flexible. The cable itself is marked "High Professional Low-Noise Microphone Cable". Not quite brown, but a very dark burgundy which is nice by itself. The shield for the negative polarity is a thin metal coil gold painted only on the outer surface, though I believe it shall do its job well. Electric contact seems to be okay so far. 2m means a useful length of around 197 cm (including connectors).
