One of the two mice I received seemed to have been hit and crumpled during transport, and its packaging was damaged. Nevertheless, it held up. I unscrewed it, snapped its clips back into place, and also connected the battery connectors. After the battery charged, it worked perfectly both with the USB receiver function and via Bluetooth.
