I had the guitar for a few weeks now and played on it intensively. I also took it to a local Luthier and a guitar teacher who plays for more then 36 years. My findings: 1- the guitar looks good, it has a good finish, although the PU lacker might not be the best choice, accoustic wise... 2- frets on the side of the fret board, are 'too sharp' and schould be sanded and polished better; 3- 'sustain' on the guitar is very mediocre, the SOUND unfortunately 'DIES OUT' very quickly. 4- Poor quality strings. It is nice for a beginner but it sounds like c r a p and shouldn't even be allowed to stand in the 'shadow' of a REAL MARTIN and IS NOTHING compared to a real Martin D45 (or even my own Martin D28). I think the manufacturer could improve on the quality of materials used ->higher quality deck, better selection of wood (Adiron- or Sitka Spruce etc.) to create a much better guitar ... and forgo the use of PU-lacker. The seller was a pleasure to work with.
