The Maxxis Rekon race tire is a true champion. Due to its semi-SASH profile, it is extremely fast, but still offers you enough grip to ride directly to the front. Best to drive the Rekon race on the rear wheel and pack an aggressive tire forward.

Note:
Maxxis strongly recommends the use of sealant milk that contains ammonia. Ammonia has been shown to hit the carcass and depending on the amount used, it can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months.
Maxxis recommends using Plasma tire sealant.

Dual
For the dual compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures is individually planned according to the desired properties of the Maxxis tires.

EXO protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various Maxxis MTB tires. It is very woven, light and very flexible. This means that the performance of the tires is still remarkably good.

Without ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the risk of breakdown also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better suited to riding on seal milk than other "tubeless" tires. The Maxxis TR tire bead is completely covered with a layer of rubber like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful on all standard size tires when inflated first and with little fluid.
