These size 36 pants are significantly roomier than other size 36 pants of a different color, with both a wider waist and wider legs. The waist is too large, although the seat and thighs fit comfortably. The thigh area is even wider than on a size 38 pair of the same pants that my husband owns (though those run a bit small). I will have to alter the waist with elastic or by adding pleats to make them fit. I've learned I will only buy pants from now on if I can try them on first!
