The nylon fabric is exactly as described by the seller. It's a bit lightweight, suitable for fall and spring weather, but not warm enough for winter. I usually wear a medium size and ordered a large, which fits well, although an extra-large might be preferable for some. If you plan to wear a thick shirt under the jacket, it could feel snug.
