Product Description: HLK-LD2420
HLK-LD2420 is a high-performance 24 GHz radar module with one transmitter and one receiver antenna. Its human body sensing algorithm adopts the millimetre wave radar distance measurement technology and the advanced proprietary signal processing technology of S3 series chips to achieve accurate sensing of moving, micro-moving and standing human bodies.HLK-LD2420 is mainly used in indoor scenes to sense whether there is a moving or micro-moving human body in the area, and refresh the detection results in real time. It has a maximum sensing distance of 8m to the moving human body, and can easily configure the sensing distance range, the sensing sensitivity and refresh time of different zones. It supports GPIO and UART interfaces, which is plug-and-play, and can be flexibly applied to different intelligent scenes and terminal products.

2.2 The presence of a large area of strong reflective planes in the sensing area, strong reflective objects are on the radar antenna will cause interference.
2.3 When wall-mounted, it is necessary to consider external interference factors such as air conditioners and fans on the top of the room.
3. Installation Precautions
3.1 Try to ensure that the radar antenna is facing the area to be detected, and the antenna around the open and unobstructed.
3.2 To ensure that the sensor installation position is firm and stable, the radar itself will affect the detection effect of shaking.
3.3 To ensure that the back of the radar will not have object movement or vibration. Because the radar wave has penetrating, antenna back flap may detect the radar back of the moving objects. Metal shield or metal back plate can be used to shield the radar back flap to reduce the impact of the back of the radar objects.
3.4 When there are more than one 24GHz band radar, please do not beam right, try to install away from each other to avoid possible mutual interference.
