This is a great, compact radio! I successfully attached the ABBREE SMA VHF UHF Dual Band Foldable antenna, although I had to trim a small portion of the plastic around the flashlight. This doesn't affect the radio's case strength. The signal reception is excellent, working well at a distance of 2 kilometers even within a crowded, built-up city environment.
