The function is as follows:

 1. A warning will be issued when a live wire is detected 

2. Low battery prompt

4. Detect wood and metal nails in three modes, respectively: 1/2 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch

Mode selection 

When entering the metal wood column scanning mode, there are 3 scanning modes to choose from, and 3 modes are to scan the surface according to the thickness of the column.

 1) 1/2" mode: measuring surface depth to 1/2 inch thickness

 2) 1" mode: measure surface depth to 1 inch thickness

 3) 1 1/2" mode: measuring surface depth to 1 1/2 inch thickness 

1 inch equals 25 mm

 If the surface thickness is not known, you can select the 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch mode to scan first, then select the appropriate mode and scan again.
