This device is verified to use a Realtek 8761B chipset. Unlike many products falsely advertised as Bluetooth 5.0, which are actually CSR 4.0, this one functions perfectly. It performs significantly better, by a factor of one hundred, compared to CSR 4.0 dongles on Windows 7.
